About Me

Hey! This is Jess!

Making art has been a passion of mine ever since I could hold a crayon, sing, move, or invent. Using the iPad program Procreate, I create abstracts, coloring books, and illustrations for children's books. My work is playful and energetic with movement and texture.

I have also pursued swing dancing, stand up comedy, comedy improv, theater, and a variety of art mediums.

When the theaters closed in the pandemic, I started drawing consistently because I needed an artistic outlet. Hundreds of drawings resulted from that time. Those drawings eventually turned into my coloring books. I also have a BA degree in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley. I love to travel and have been to Paris to see the incredible art there. I even took a selfie with the Mona Lisa! I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it!
